In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act (Subchapters D and E of Ch. 551. Tex. Gov’t Code), the board may enter closed meeting to deliberate any subject authorized by Subchapter D that is listed on the agenda for this meeting. Any final action, decision, or vote on a subject deliberated in closed meeting will be taken in an open meeting held in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.

N O T I C E OF M E E T I N G

The Monahans-Wickett-Pyote Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in special session on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the Administration Building, 606 South Betty, Monahans, Texas. The following items will be considered:

If during the course of the meeting any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such executive or closed session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551. Before any such session is convened, the presiding officer shall publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the executive or closed session. All final votes, actions or decisions shall be taken in open session.
