Lobo Freshman 2-0 After Big Spring

Last Thursday, the Freshman Loboes improved their season record to 2-0 with 29-12 a win over the Big Spring Freshmen.

Wade Roark scored on a QB sweep from two yards out and kicked three extra points.

Micah Ramsey scored twice on runs of 29 and 8 yards.

Gael Espinoza scored on a defensive fumble return of 65 yards when Timothy Ontiveros stripped the ball loose from the Steer quarterback at midfield early in the fourth quarter.

Gael Espinoza also threw a two-point conversion after a low snap on one of the PAT attempts to Kendrick Anderson.

The Freshman are open during homecoming this week and will face the Andrews Musketeers on Thursday, September 20 on Lobo Field.  Kick-off is at 5 pm.
