    Peer Assistance and Leadership (PAL) is an accredited course offered in many high schools across Texas.  Students must be nominated, make application, and interview to be a member of this class.  PAL is considered a service organization.  The group mentors younger children and peers within its own school.  PAL also services elementary campuses and groups such as the local retirement home, county extension agency, and county library.
