Chevron Texaco employees Allen Chandler and Jesse Ramirez, center, presented Monahans High School Band Director John Zalman a check for $750 on Friday.  The check represents a grant awarded from Chevron Texaco for the purchase of uniforms for the Flag Corp.  Nancy Ramirez organized various fund-raisers during the summer, and with the help of the girls, they raised the beginning amount to acquire their uniforms.  Flag Corp members are Stormy Harbin, Brittany Sotelo, Brandi Thurmond, Camilla Curbirth, Allison Valles, Marissa Merrick, Emily McKellips, Brianna Williams, Jessice Bustamante, Melissa Ramirez, Brianna Andrews, Bernadette Muniz and Brandi Chandler.  Members not pictured are Shuntel Haynes, Lacette Martinez, Bernadette Muniz and Marielena Ramos.
