Class of 2007	Jenny Huddleston Named VISION XV Outstanding Student

Jenny Huddleston, a Monahans High School senior, was recognized as an outstanding student at the fifteenth annual regional conference on education of gifted and talented students on February 1, 2007 at the MCM Elegante Hotel in Odessa.  The event was sponsored by Midland Independent School District and Region 18 Gifted and Talented Service Districts.

The accomplishments of outstanding high school students representing each sponsoring district were recognized.  Student representatives were required to participate in the approved gifted and talented program in their school district; demonstrate the highest standards of scholarly performance; show initiative and/or leadership as demonstrated by involvement in co-curricular, extracurricular or community service project and earn a record of outstanding citizenship.

Huddleston received a certificate naming her as a VISION XV Outstanding Student along with a letter of recognition.

She is the daughter of Doug and Tammi Huddleston.
