Marching Contest DIVISION ONE! The Big Green Band received a Division 1 rating from all judges at UIL Marching Contest this year.  This was the 42nd first division in marching in the schools history.  The show featured the music from Minimally Speaking and Incantation.  Congratulations to the students for an awesome performance that received a standing ovation!  Soloists were Chip Reyes, Chris Garcia, Bobby Fabian, Mireya Reyes, Bryan Pippen and Lea Baeza. WJH Success! The Walker Junior High School Band also received a Division One rating from all judges and, to our knowledge, is the only junior high marching band in Texas that competes at UIL.  Congratulations to these awesome students for keeping a special Monahans tradition alive in such a spectacular way!
