The Monahans-Wickett-Pyote Independent School District believes that it is responsible for providing quality curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular programs and activities which give all students opportunities to reach their maximum potential and become productive citizens of our community and country.
 

Lathan Walker Junior High Performance Objectives
  1. The students at Lathan Walker Junior High will improve their scores in all areas of the TAKS tests.
  2. Lathan Walker Junior High will improve its attendance rate for the school year.
  3. Lathan Walker Junior High will meet the needs of all special population students.  At-risk, Limited English Proficient, Special Education, Gifted/Talented Students.
  4. In an effort to improve the educational environment at Lathan Walker Junior High, community and parent involvement will be increased.
  5. The use of technology to further academic success will increase at Lathan Walker Junior High.
  6. To ensure a safe environment for learning at Lathan Walker Junior High.
