The AR Honors Banquet will be held in early May at Bar-H Restaurant. 

Exact day and time TBA.  

Students who have read and passed the AR tests for at least 5 books from the Honors List during either the 1st or 2nd semesters will be invited to attend this banquet.  We will also be sharing information about our favorite books during the banquet.   

AR Testing Periods – 2009 - 2010

 

First 6 Weeks

August 24th - September 30th

Second 6 Weeks

October 1st - November 4th

Third 6 Weeks

November 5th – December 16th

Fourth 6 Weeks

December 17th - February 17th

Fifth 6 Weeks

February 18th - April 14th

Sixth 6 Weeks

April 15th - May 19th

 

 

 

 

·        Students who earn at least 30 AR points during a 6 week grading period will be invited to the library to celebrate with snacks and games.  Then their names will be entered into a prize drawing for that grading period.

 

·        If you are named the most improved reader in your reading class for the 6 weeks, you may come by the library to choose an item from the AR store.  You may also receive an additional prize if your name is drawn at the end of the semester.

 

·        Students who have read and passed the AR tests for at least 5 books from the Honors List during either the 1st or 2nd semesters will be invited to attend the AR Honors banquet at Bar-H restaurant.  We will also be sharing information about our favorite books during the banquet.
