About Our Department
The MWPISD Business & Finance Department is responsible for managing the District’s financial operations and ensuring resources are used effectively to support student success. Our team oversees essential services including budgeting, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, financial reporting, PEIMS reporting, Federal Programs, grant administration, and compliance with state and federal requirements.
Through careful planning, responsible stewardship, and a commitment to transparency and compliance, we provide the financial foundation necessary to support our students, staff, and schools. District resources are used to support employee compensation, instructional needs, campus operations, facility maintenance, and the programs and services that enhance educational opportunities for our students.
The Business & Finance Department is committed to providing accurate, efficient, and customer-focused service while building trust with our staff, families, and community.
